  • Administrator of County Health Insurance Plan
  • Administrator of County Payroll
  • Designated Agent for Kansas Public Employees Retirement System
  • Certifies Tax Unit Boundaries Maps
  • Maintains and updates real estate ownership files
  • Reviews budgets for all County taxing entities
  • Sets and certifies all mill levies
  • Responsible for central accounts payable for all county offices
  • Many other statutory duties not listed
