 III.            Consent Agenda

1.       Consider reallocation of FY10 JJA funds—Community Corrections.

2.       Consider Contract C471-2009 for inspection/overhaul of chiller and replacement of cooling tower pump—Corrections.

3.       Consider Contract C472-2009 for annual maintenance of hardware, software and disaster recovery for the HP3000—District Court.

4.       Acknowledge receipt of correspondence from Sheriff Barta regarding his intent to purchase 1 Kawasaki Teryx 750 F1 4x4 UTV at a cost of $8,506.98.

5.       Acknowledge receipt of correspondence from Sheriff Barta regarding his intent to purchase 12 rifles.

6.       Acknowledge receipt of correspondence from Sheriff Barta regarding his intent to purchase 2 pole cameras.

8.       Consider request to waive the purchasing procedures and sole source purchase 40 replacement charcoal odor control canisters for the Phoenix odor control system at the Sherwood Wastewater Treatment Plant—Public Works.

3.       Consider Resolution No. 2009-137 authorizing the County Clerk to cancel and reissue three checks—Commissioner Miller.

B.     KANSAS EXPOCENTRE – H. R. Cook

1.       Consider request for capital expenditures for the purchase of “blow-through” concert barricades.

 

 

 

 

C.    COUNTY COUNSELOR – Rich Eckert

1.       Consider Resolution No. 2009-138 rescinding Resolution No. 2001-161, prohibiting the use of wireless telephones by employees of Shawnee County performing duties for Shawnee County while operating a moving motor vehicle, and providing exceptions for employees providing law enforcement or emergency management services—Commissioner Miller.

D.    CORRECTIONS – Dick Kline

1.       Consider Contract C473-2009 for inmate and juvenile commissary services.

E.     PUBLIC WORKS – Tom Vlach

1.       Consider Resolution Nos. 2009-139 through 2009-141 authorizing the transfer of unobligated Public Works operating budget funds to special highway improvements funds—Commissioner   Miller.

F.     TREASURER – Larry Wilson

1.       Consider Contract C474-2009, addendum to Contract C31-2008 with Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. for collection of unpaid taxes.

G.    COMMISSION

1.       Consider Resolution No. 2009-142 amending the percentage of retirant contribution in the retirants’ health care program—Commissioner Ensley.
