Topeka Man Charged With Murder In The Second Degree, Attempted Murder
TOPEKA, KANSAS – Christian Demarcus Robbins, 18, Topeka, Kan., is charged with one count of murder in the second degree, a severity-level 1 person felony; attempted murder in the second degree, a severity-level 3 person felonyand aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a severity-level 7 person felony. The crimes are alleged to have occurred May 14th, 2009 at a residence north of Topeka. Ms. Andrews was taken into custody by the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office shortly after the incident.
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident. Shawnee County Assistant District Attorney Mickie Brassel is the prosecuting attorney.
As in all criminal cases, a person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The charging document filed merely contains allegations of criminal conduct.
