Topeka Teen Sentenced To 146 Months For Reckless Second-Degree Murder

TOPEKA, KANSAS – Timothy Arterberry, 19, Topeka, Kan., was ordered to serve a 146-month sentence by Third Judicial District Judge Evelyn Z. Wilson for his involvement in the shooting death of Albert Conley, Jr., 31, Topeka, Kan., on April 11, 2008. Mr. Arterberry previously pled no contest to one count of murder in the second degree, reckless, a severity-level 2 person felony; one count of criminal possession of a firearm, a severity-level 8 non-person felony; and one count of obstructing the legal process, a severity-level 9 non-person felony.

Mr. Arterberry will be transferred to the custody of the Kansas Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
