To see the unofficial results of this election, click here the evening of March 3, 2015. The official results will be posted after the meeting of the Board of Canvassers on Monday, March 9th which begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Shawnee County Election Office.

2015 Primary Voting Information

The March 3rd Primary will ONLY be for the precincts in the Topeka City Council Districts of 4, 6 & 8. This will only involve 29 voting locations within the city of Topeka.

Attention Voters

It’s “Road Construction Season” and many projects are underway in Topeka and Shawnee County. Some may affect your usual route to your voting place. Access is available to all Shawnee County voting places, but alternate routes/access may be necessary for some locations. Therefore, you may want to plan your route before the March 3, 2015 Primary Election. Advance voting is available for your convenience. Please contact the Election Office for hours and details. 785-251-5900. You may check your voting status & voting location and view your Sample Ballot at: www.myvoteinfo.voteks.

Important Information

Registration and Voting

The information on our website reflects election law as it stands today. As new laws go into effect we will update the information accordingly.

The voter registration deadline is now the 21st day before any election.

Beginning January 1, 2012 every voter must show photo identification each time they vote. Beginning January 1, 2013, individuals must provide proof of U.S. citizenship when they register to vote for the first time in Kansas.
