SCHA offering seasonal flu shots at Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library

The Shawnee County Health Agency (SCHA) will be offering seasonal flu shots to the public at the Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library on Thursday, September 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

SCHA-Community Health Center (CHC) will be providing flu shots, as well as pneumonia and tetanus shots, to established patients of the SCHA-CHC starting September 14. Patients who plan to receive a shot at the CHC, must call 368-2000, extension 5315 to schedule an appointment.

All seasonal flu shots will be $25.00 each. Individuals receiving these shots should remember to bring their insurance cards. Cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard will be accepted forms of payment.

For more information, call the SCHA’s Flu Hotline at 368-2025. SCHA will be releasing information in regards to H1N1 vaccinations as it becomes available.
