Shawnee County does NOT accept applications or resumes via email or fax. However, we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Please fill out the employment application in full. Copies of your High School Diploma/GED Certificate, college transcripts and driver’s license (if required) per the minimum requirements in the job description may be requested at any time during the hiring process.

Note: If you are applying for a Deputy position with the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office, please contact Human Resources for special instructions.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on the application closing date.

There will be a 1-2 week screening period for each employment position. After applications are screened for qualified candidates, the hiring department will begin the interview process.
