Youth Flag Football Information
Flag football is a Shawnee County Parks & Recreation program that is offered in the fall. Teaching sportsmanship and fundamentals is the focus.
- The program offers three corec divisions:
- 1st/2nd grade
- 3rd/4th grade
- 5th/6th grade
- Games for 8U will be played at Shawnee North Community Park only. Games for 10 & 12U will be played at both Shawnee North Community Park or Lake Shawnee. Parents choose the location for 10 & 12 U when registering..
- Registration deadline for this fall is Aug 19th for youth league.
- Registration fee of $30 includes a team shirt, mouthpiece and flags.
- Parents are asked to volunteer to coach.
- Children from the same school are placed together on the same team, when possible.

Adult Flag Football Information
Registration deadline for teams this Fall is Stptember 1st for the adult league.
- Games will be played 5-on-5 format.
- Registration fee is $315 per team.
- Games will begin around September 21st and will be played at Lake Shawnee only.
