Youth Overview

Shawnee County Parks & Recreation offers soccer leagues for children beginning at age 4 and ending with 7^th grade. Leagues are offered in the spring, summer and fall.

Spring and fall league games are played at two locations, Shawnee North Community Park or the Bettis Family Sports Complex at Lake Shawnee. Parents choose which location they prefer.
Summer league games are played at Shawnee North Community Park.
Registration fee of $30 per participant includes a team t-shirt.
Parents are asked to volunteer to coach.
Children aren’t guaranteed to be placed on a specific coach’s or school’s team.
Leagues are set up to foster social development along with providing a safe, fun sports environment.
Coaches set up practice dates/times.
Travel within the county is required.
Staff, Coaches and Parents will be held to the youth guidelines. Violators may be kept from future play with SCPR.
Games will be played on Saturdays.

Registration

Registration deadline for fall league is August 12^th. The registration deadline for Spring league is February 14^th and for Summer league the registration deadline is May 14^th. Please call 785.286.3358 to register over the phone and for more information.
