West Lawn is a Memorial Garden and cemetery with special features that include a Veteran’s Field of Honor, Memorial Trees, Avenue of Flags and more.

West Lawn strives to honor those who are interred here and give special honor when appropriate. There are spaces for any military servicemember without cost (non-transferable). Additionally, within the pet cemetery, service animals, e.g. K-9 and seeing eye dogs also receive free space, and Kansas Government service dogs, may receive free markers.

West Lawn Gardens has recently been acquired by Shawnee County. More information about the acquisition and surrounding circumstances are on the acquisition page.

West Lawn Memorial Gardens is located west of Topeka at the Auburn exit of I-70.
